Best-selling young adult author and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the publisher said: "Upon deliberation, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing additional books by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was taken subsequent to an investigation into allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable towards female individuals.
The firm declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
A Prolific Publishing History
Walliams ranks among Britain's most prolific writers for young readers, boasting over more than 60 million copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins in 2008.
A number of his works, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as television films.
His bibliography includes more than 40 books in total, including a Christmas book called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
